I am Lenese Benons.  I am the eldest of three sisters, aunty to three nieces and a nephew and I have always filled the role of organizer in my family.  I am the unofficial travel agent for family vacations and unofficial editor of all correspondence that may be written for a complaint to a utility company or unofficial editor of a school project for my niece.  Over the years, I have experienced many couples with their varying personalities and backgrounds and the common thread for each of them as I plan their wedding day, is the unique blessing of being the one to help them organize the first day they officially begin their family.  It is a humbling experience that I do not take for granted; one that I get to enjoy alongside my beautifully talented sisters, Shalana and Charlyn.

My name is Shalana Waterman. I am a mother of two amazing girls, a bilingual with English and Spanish and a holder of a MBA degree from the University of Surrey. I have been a designer since a little girl. It started with my bedroom decor, my drawings, my sewing. I did all this during childhood and never knew it would lead me to also design for others. I started humbly designing and it has been the honour of my life to bring the design hopes and dreams of my clients to fruition. That honour is extended with me doing this alongside my two amazing sisters Charlyn and Lenese. Family means everything to us and we are pleased to extend this by welcoming our clients into our SWD Family.

I am Charlyn Winn. I live in the UK with my husband and two children. My husband and I count ourselves as the very first Shalana Waterman Designs clients. I was not sure of much for my wedding but what I did know, was I wanted my sisters [Lenese and Shalana} and I to work together to bring my ideas for our big day to life. I was very lucky to have them jump on board and beautifully execute every minute detail of our celebrations and our day, still remains unforgettable, all these years later. I had no idea that we would now be so fortunate to be planning and designing weddings for couples from all over the world and to say it has been the biggest blessing, is truly an understatement.
